Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

BOOK WEEK 2026 - Symphony of Stories

Asquith students enjoyed an engaging week celebrating Book Week this year.

  • A book character parade showed great imagination and presentation from both students and staff.
  • Jim Jam Music provided a stimulating incursion of this year's theme "Symphony of Stories" bringing books to life with music.
  • The Great Book Swap saw an exchange of donated books for a gold coin with the proceeds supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
