Wellbeing Health In-Reach Nurse (WHIN) starting in 2026.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of a Wellbeing Health In-Reach Nurse at Asquith PS next year who will be onsite one day per week from Term 1, 2026.

A WHIN nurse is a healthcare professional who works within schools to support the physical and mental health needs of students. They provide accessible health care and wellbeing support onsite, helping to identify and address health issues early, promote healthy lifestyles, and connect students and families with appropriate health services. The goal of a WHIN nurse is to improve student wellbeing and create a supportive school environment. The nurse will work closely with staff, students, and families to promote wellbeing, manage health needs and connect the school community with health services.
