Debating and public speaking

Our school offers debating and public speaking opportunities.

Debating

Our students have the opportunity in Stage 2 and 3 to join the school's Debating Group. Our debaters take part in the NSW Premier's Debating Competition each year, visiting and hosting debates against other schools in the local area. Our teams have successfully progressed to the Regionals Finals in the past years.

Public speaking

Our school runs a competition each year to choose four students to represent our school in the NSW Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. Our school has hosted the Local Finals of the competition in past years and have had a number of students who have gone on the represent this area in the Regional Finals.
