Enviro hub

The Asquith Enviro Hub brings together enthusiastic parents, grandparents and carers who are keen to work with teachers to help connect our children with the beautiful school grounds and environment. We have established and are working on a range of projects including:

  • Running a once a term Working Bee and weekly watering roster to care for the school’s gardens and outdoor areas.
  • Supporting teachers with the Ready, Set, Grow vegetable garden and composting project.
  • Starting a Team Green for the children and supporting a lunchtime Gardening Club.
  • Running a second hand book stall (The Book Nook) and a Market Stall (Team Green Garden Grown), with the Gardening Club.
  • Regenerating our Turpentine Forest.
  • Establishing and maintaining a Bird Habitat.
  • Establishing a new home for a hive of tiny, gorgeous native stingless bees.

We'd love you to join our group – if you are interested in helping us with watering the gardens, Friday lunch time Garden Club, coming to our once a term Planning Meetings or for more information please contact us on asquithenvirohub.au@gmail.com or visit our blog or Facebook page.
